TweetDeck Comes To IPhone Tonight
Written by noneck
The popular TweetDeck is coming to IPhone tonight at 9:00pm Pacific Time.  TweetDeck is the leading desktop application for Twitter.  Kevin Rose posted a brief post this morning letting everyone know.  Now Mashable and Kevin Rose have tested the app and are super excited about it's release.

Now TweetDeck competes with Seesmic Desktop on the desktop, and popular mobile client Tweetie and Twitterific on the iPhone. What TweetDeck brings lot's of new features that allow you to leave your desk and have the exact same experience and data on your phone. Many Twitter applications are moving in this direction: Tweetie already has a Mac version, while an iPhone app is on the way from Seesmic.

The app also syncs with the desktop version, providing a complete desktop and mobile solution for Twitter power users. The feature list includes:

  • Column based friend groups (like TweetDeck desktop)
  • TweetDeck desktop syncing (make a change on the iphone and it’s reflected back on the PC)
  • Facebook (Facebook) toolbar like status updates
  • Multiple account support
  • Flicking to move between columns
  • Shake to refresh

As far as I'm concerned I'm ready for TweetDeck.  I have to admit I love Twitterific for my mobile Tweet needs, but I seriously can't wait until TweetDeck's IPhone app is available, hopefully tonight!

New IPhone Out June 19th
Written by noneck

  Iphone 3gs

So 3 months after I buy my IPhone, they release a 3G S!  This kinda makes me mad!  I'm still completely happy, but I kinda wished I waited now!  This one sports a faster processor and some additional features such as an internal compass, a video camera and an improved photo camera. A 16-gigabyte version of the 3G S will cost $199 and a 32-gigabyte model will be $299.  I just bought my 3G for $199!

The real question is when my 2 year contract expires, what's going to be the hip new gadget out there?  We'll see!

Boxee Coming to Everyone June 23
Written by noneck

Good news for all of you out there who are still waiting for an invite to Boxee.  CEO Avner Ronen announced plans to release Boxee to everyone for all platforms starting June 23.
The Connections Digital Entertainment Conference Wednesday included the CEO's belief that TV is going the way of the internet and that tech giants need to let it go. The company's potential to make money from its media streaming platform would explode.  Either from content providers pushing for their shows, collecting fees from for-pay add-ons or an application store, for licensing boxee to hardware makers. Shockingly, they have a zero-dollar revenue goal for the year!
